Collection: Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Angular contact ball bearings are designed with raceways positioned at an angle to the bearing axis, enabling them to support combined radial and axial loads or pure thrust loads in one direction. The contact angle allows higher axial load capacity than standard radial ball bearings while maintaining good radial support and high-speed capability. Single-row types (7200 and 7300 series) take axial load in one direction and are commonly mounted in pairs; double-row types handle axial loads in both directions.

When selecting an angular contact ball bearing, check the bore: for bore codes 04 and above, the last two digits of the designation multiplied by 5 give the bore in millimeters (codes 00–03 mean 10, 12, 15 and 17 mm), and the series (such as 7200 light or 7300 medium) sets the cross-section and load capacity. These bearings provide precise shaft guidance in machine tool spindles, pumps, gearboxes, and automotive wheel hubs where radial and axial forces act together.
