The 1311K is a self-aligning ball bearing with a tapered bore (1:12 taper ratio) designed to accommodate shaft misalignment and deflection. The double-row ball design allows the bearing to compensate for angular misalignment between the shaft and housing while maintaining reliable operation.
Self-aligning ball bearings are commonly used in applications where shaft deflection or misalignment is expected, such as agricultural equipment, conveyor systems, woodworking machinery, and fans. The tapered bore enables direct mounting onto tapered shafts or adapter sleeves for easy installation and removal.
