Self-aligning ball bearings feature two rows of balls running on a spherical outer ring raceway, allowing the bearing to accommodate angular misalignment between the shaft and housing. The tapered bore design with 1:12 taper facilitates mounting on tapered shafts or adapter sleeves. The C3 radial clearance provides greater internal clearance than standard, suitable for applications with thermal expansion or shaft deflection.
