Self-aligning ball bearings are double-row bearings with a spherical outer ring raceway that allows the bearing to compensate for angular misalignment between the shaft and housing. The 1211-K features a tapered bore (1:12 taper) for mounting directly onto tapered shafts or adapter sleeves, providing simplified installation and secure positioning.
These bearings are commonly used in applications where shaft deflection or mounting errors cause misalignment, such as agricultural equipment, conveyor systems, and wood processing machinery. The self-aligning capability makes them ideal for installations where precise shaft alignment is difficult to achieve or maintain during operation.
