The 23230-K is a spherical roller bearing from the 232 series with a 150 mm tapered bore (1:12 taper). Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to accommodate shaft deflection and misalignment.

These bearings are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, paper mills, steel processing machinery, gearboxes, and vibratory equipment where misalignment compensation and high radial load capacity are required. The tapered bore design facilitates mounting on tapered shafts or adapter sleeves.
