The 23134 is a spherical roller bearing with a 170mm bore diameter, 280mm outside diameter, and 88mm width from the 231 series. Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to accommodate shaft deflection and misalignment.
This bearing type is commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, paper mills, steel processing machinery, construction equipment, and gearboxes where high radial loads, moderate thrust loads, and self-alignment are required. The spherical design compensates for mounting and shaft alignment errors up to several degrees.
