The 23134-K is a spherical roller bearing with a 170mm tapered bore (1:12 taper ratio) from the 231 series. Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to accommodate shaft deflection and misalignment.

This bearing type is commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, construction machinery, paper mills, and gearboxes where high radial loads, moderate thrust loads, and compensation for misalignment are required. The tapered bore allows direct mounting onto tapered shafts or installation using adapter sleeves or withdrawal sleeves.
