The 22328-K is a spherical roller bearing with a 140mm tapered bore (1:12 taper ratio) from the 223 series. Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to accommodate shaft deflection and misalignment.

These bearings are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, paper mills, steel processing machinery, and gearboxes where high radial loads, moderate thrust loads, and misalignment compensation are required. The tapered bore design allows mounting directly onto tapered shafts or adapter sleeves for simplified installation.
