The 22208 is a spherical roller bearing with a 40mm bore diameter from the 222 series. Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to compensate for shaft deflection or misalignment.
