The 2203 is a self-aligning ball bearing with a 17 mm bore diameter from the 22 series. Self-aligning ball bearings feature a double row of balls and a common sphered raceway in the outer ring, allowing the bearing to compensate for angular misalignment between the shaft and housing.
These bearings are commonly used in applications where shaft deflection or misalignment is expected, such as agricultural equipment, conveyor systems, and industrial machinery. They are particularly suited for applications with lower to moderate loads and speeds where alignment precision is difficult to maintain.
