The NU216 is a single row cylindrical roller bearing with an 80mm bore diameter, 140mm outside diameter, and 26mm width. This bearing design features high radial load capacity and allows for axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing, making it suitable for applications where thermal expansion must be accommodated.
Cylindrical roller bearings are commonly used in electric motors, gearboxes, machine tool spindles, and industrial pumps where high radial loads and moderate to high speeds are present. The NU design has two integral ribs on the outer ring and no ribs on the inner ring, permitting free axial movement.
