SKF 7202 BEP single row angular contact ball bearing. 15 mm bore × 35 mm outside diameter × 11 mm width, with a 40° contact angle and a glass-fibre reinforced polyamide cage.
The SKF suffixes describe the design: B is the 40° contact angle, E the reinforced internal design, and P the moulded polyamide cage. The larger contact angle carries substantially more axial load than a 15° or 25° bearing of the same envelope, which is why it is specified for pump and gearbox shafts, machine tool spindles and positioner drives.
- Bore 15 mm · O.D. 35 mm · Width 11 mm
- Contact angle 40°, single row, one-piece rings
- Cage: glass-fibre reinforced polyamide (PA66), ball centred
- Basic dynamic load rating 8.32 kN · basic static load rating 4.4 kN
- Limiting and reference speed 24,000 r/min
- Weight 0.106 lb (48 g)
Single row angular contact bearings take axial load in one direction only and are normally fitted as a preloaded pair — back-to-back, face-to-face or in tandem, depending on the load and rigidity you need.
