The 24128-C3 is a spherical roller bearing with a 140mm bore diameter from the 241 series, designed with C3 radial internal clearance for applications requiring greater than normal clearance. Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to compensate for shaft deflection or misalignment.
These bearings are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, pulp and paper machinery, gearboxes, and vibrating screens where high radial loads, moderate thrust loads, and self-alignment are required. The C3 clearance allows for thermal expansion in applications with elevated operating temperatures or interference fits.
