22308K

The 22308K is a spherical roller bearing with a 40mm tapered bore (1:12 taper ratio) from the 223 series. Spherical roller bearings feature two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to compensate for shaft deflection or misalignment.

These bearings are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, construction machinery, paper mills, and gearboxes where shock loads, misalignment, and high radial loads are present. The tapered bore design allows for direct mounting on tapered shafts or adapter sleeves for simplified installation and removal.
