Self-aligning ball bearings feature two rows of balls running on a spherical outer ring raceway, allowing the bearing to accommodate angular misalignment between the shaft and housing. This 1222K bearing has a 110 mm tapered bore (1:12 taper) for secure mounting directly onto tapered shafts or with adapter sleeves.

These bearings are commonly used in applications where shaft deflection or misalignment is expected, including agricultural equipment, conveyor systems, woodworking machinery, and general industrial equipment. The self-aligning capability compensates for mounting errors and shaft deflection during operation.
